Short answer: we don't collect them.

Counter data is stored locally. Counter names and values are kept on your device, not on our servers.
The app is free and ad-supported. Ads come from Google AdMob, which is how the app stays free.
Ad preferences are yours. You can manage or opt out of personalised ads in your device settings, under Google › Ads.
